I have grown up in a small town my whole life. It is located in centralish Missouri called Sweet Springs. It may be hard to find on a map. In high school I was very active in sports and clubs. However, the club that i dedicated most of my time to was the FFA. My family and I have a small 20 acre farm that we live on and my grandparents have a much larger farm where they grow crops and raise feeder calves. So Agriculture is bred into me. My passion for agricultural began with horses and participating in “team penning” with my dad and grandpa. When I was of age to start showing livestock, I started showing pigs and I have done that competitively to this current day at local, state, and national shows. My biggest and most enjoyable accomplishment with that was having the opportunity to participate in the Missouri State Fair Sale of Champions due to being named the Reserve Grand Champion Barrow Overall in 2010. About four years ago I started showing cattle. Currently, cattle is my passion due to how much in the last year and a half I have engaged myself in the industry. I enjoy being involved in agriculuture, taking risks, and having fun with the opportunities it gives me.
